Door installation
Most door problems in Dubai start at installation, not at the factory. A frame that is out of square, a threshold that does not drain, a panel weight the structure was never checked for — each one turns into a dragging door two years later. Our fitters do the survey and the installation, so the tolerances set on site are the tolerances the door is built to.
- Measured on site, at several points, with the floor level and the structure above the opening checked before anything is ordered.
- Frame set and levelled, fixed into sound structure rather than into render or blockwork alone.
- Panels hung and aligned, with the gaps, the drop and the closing pressure set by hand.
- Perimeter sealed and drainage tested, because wind-driven rain and blown sand find every gap.
- Handover walk-through, so you know the adjustment points and the cleaning routine.

Supply, fabrication and custom sizes
Openings in Dubai villas and fit-outs are rarely standard. Everything we supply is made to the measurements taken at the survey rather than cut down from a stock size on site.
Aluminium systems
Profiles from systems including Schüco and AluK, with thermally broken options where heat gain through the frame matters.
Hardware
Rollers, hinges and gearing from Roto, Siegenia and GU, specified for the weight of your panels rather than to a price point.
Glass
Double glazing with solar-control or Low-E coatings for sun-facing openings, laminated where safety or noise matters, obscure and frosted for bathrooms and partitions.
Finishes
Powder coat and anodised finishes chosen to hold up to UV and coastal air, including dual colour where the inside and outside need to differ.
Door repair
We repair aluminium and glass doors whether or not we installed them. Most call-outs are one of a short list of faults, and most of them are cheaper to fix than to replace.

Send a photo first. A picture of the track, the hinge or the damage usually tells us which part is needed, which means the right part arrives on the first visit instead of the second.
Maintenance and servicing
Aluminium doors are mechanical. Sand gets into tracks, UV hardens seals, buildings settle and a panel that closed perfectly in year one can start to drag in year five. Planned servicing is far cheaper than the repair that follows neglect.
What a service visit covers
- Tracks vacuumed and cleared, drainage slots checked and flushed.
- Rollers, hinges and carriers inspected, adjusted or replaced.
- Seals, brushes and gaskets checked for hardening and gaps.
- Locks, handles and multipoint gear tested and re-aligned.
- Glass and frame checked for movement, cracking or failed units.
- A written note of anything that will need attention next.
How often depends on exposure. A door onto a sandy, west-facing terrace needs attention more often than an internal partition. The maintenance guide sets out what you can do yourself between visits.
Commercial and fit-out work
Commercial openings carry different obligations: access, egress, fire ratings, daily traffic volumes and a fit-out programme that will not wait. We work to the drawings and to the site programme.

How a job runs, start to finish
Free site visit
We measure the opening, check the floor and the structure above it, look at exposure, drainage and the access route for the panels, and talk through what will actually work in the space.
Written quotation
System, glass, hardware, finish, sizes, dates and the installation scope set out in writing. Nothing is ordered until you approve it.
Manufacture
Aluminium systems are typically made in 2–3 weeks to your exact measurements. Special finishes, oversized panels and motorisation take longer, and we say so upfront.
Installation
Usually 1–2 days on site for a standard opening. Frame levelled, panels aligned, perimeter sealed, drainage tested.
Handover
We walk the door with you, show the adjustment and cleaning points, and hand over the warranty documents.
After-care
Servicing, adjustment and repairs stay with the same team, under a 10-year warranty on our aluminium door systems.
Repair, upgrade or replace?
Not every tired door needs replacing. The honest answer usually depends on the frame, not the panel.

What door services does DreamFold offer in Dubai?
Site survey and measurement, supply and fabrication of aluminium and glass doors, installation by our own fitters, repairs, servicing and maintenance, glass replacement and commercial fit-out work. Do you repair doors you did not install?
Yes. Most of our repair work is on doors installed by other companies, including roller, hinge, lock, seal, track and glass replacement on aluminium and glass doors.
How much does a door repair cost in Dubai?
It depends on the fault and the parts. Rollers, seals and hinge adjustments are at the low end, a replacement sealed glass unit or a new track section is higher. We quote after seeing the door or a clear photo of the problem, and we do not start work before you approve the price.
Is the site visit free?
Yes. We measure the opening, check the structure and the floor, discuss the options and then send a written quote. There is no charge and no obligation.
How long does a new door take?
Aluminium systems are typically manufactured in 2 to 3 weeks and a standard opening is installed in 1 to 2 days. Special finishes, oversized panels, motorisation and non-standard glass take longer, and we confirm dates in writing.
Do you do installation only, if I already have the doors?
Yes. We survey the opening and the door you have, confirm it will fit and install it. If the measurements do not work we will tell you before anything is fixed to the wall.
What warranty do you give?
Our aluminium door systems carry a 10-year warranty, with the terms set out in the quotation. Repairs and replacement parts are covered separately and the terms are stated on the job.
How often should aluminium doors be serviced?
It depends on exposure. A door onto a sandy, sun-facing terrace needs attention more often than an internal partition. Vacuum the tracks and check the seals regularly, and have the rollers, hinges and drainage checked when the door starts to feel heavier than it did.
Can you replace just the glass?
Yes. If the frame is sound, a cracked, broken or misted sealed unit can be measured, ordered and replaced without changing the door.

Yes. Entrances, storefronts, office doors, partitions and fire-rated doorsets for retail, F&B, hospitality, showrooms, offices and industrial units, worked to the drawings and the site programme.
