These terms apply to the supply and installation of aluminium door, window and glass systems by Dreamfold (“we”, “us”) for a customer (“you”). By approving a quotation and paying the advance, you accept these terms.
1. Quotations and site survey
We provide a free site survey and a written quotation. A quotation is based on the measurements taken at survey and on the specification agreed with you. If site conditions, openings or the specification change after survey, the quotation may be revised and we will tell you before proceeding.
2. Order confirmation and payment
A 50% advance payment is due on approval of the quotation. Work is scheduled only once the advance is received. The remaining 50% is payable on completion of installation.
3. Completion time
Installation is completed within 15 working days of order approval and receipt of the advance payment. Working days exclude Fridays, Saturdays and UAE public holidays. Where completion depends on access to your property, on other trades finishing their work, or on any other matter outside our control, the period is extended by the length of that delay and we will keep you informed.
4. Cancellation and changes
You may cancel or change your order before material has been cut. Once material has been cut to your measurements it cannot be reused, and the cost of that material is chargeable to you. Any balance of the advance payment after deduction of the material cost is refunded to you.
Requests to change the specification after approval may affect both the price and the completion date. We will confirm any such change to you before continuing.
5. Warranty
We provide a 10-year warranty on the door and glass systems we supply and install, covering defects in the system and its hardware under normal domestic or commercial use. If a defect arises within the warranty period we will repair or replace the affected part at no charge to you.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental or impact damage, alteration or repair carried out by anyone other than us, or normal wear to finishes and moving parts. It does not cover glass breakage after handover.
6. Access and site conditions
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the installation area on the agreed dates, together with power and water where these are needed. You are responsible for obtaining any building, community or developer approvals that your property requires.
7. Ownership
Materials and installed systems remain our property until payment has been received in full.
8. Liability
We are responsible for carrying out the work with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable Emirate. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent UAE courts.
