Most door problems in Dubai start with the fit, not the door. A frame that is out of level, a threshold with no drainage or a track that was never packed properly will make even a good door drag within a season. Every installation below is done by our own fitters.

Automatic and motorised door installation
Automatic doors need more than fitting: they need a power supply, controls and safety devices that are commissioned and tested before handover.

What we plan first
The supply point, the swept or stacked area, sensor positions and what happens in a power cut, because a manual override is normally required.
Commissioning
Opening speed, hold-open time and safety sensors are set and tested with you, then the operation is demonstrated at handover.

How our door installation works, step by step
Free site visit and measurement
We measure the opening at several points, check the floor level, the structure above, the exposure and the access route, and talk through the options for the room.
Written quote
System, glass, hardware, finish, opening sizes, dates and the installation scope are set out in writing. You approve before anything is ordered.
Manufacture
Standard aluminium systems are made to your exact measurements in 2–3 weeks. We confirm the fitting date as the door is finished.
Installation day
We protect the floor and route, remove the old door where needed, set and level the frame, hang the panels, seal the perimeter and clear up.
Adjust, test and hand over
Every panel is adjusted, the locks and seals tested, and you are shown how to operate and care for the door before we leave.
What we check at the site survey
The survey is where a good installation is won. These are the points our fitters measure and photograph before anything is ordered.

How to prepare for installation day
Clear the opening
Move furniture, curtains and blinds about two metres back on both sides so the fitters can work safely.
Book the access
In towers, book the service lift and inform security in advance. Tell us the working hours your building allows.
Floors and finishes
If tiling or flooring is still to be laid, tell us at the survey: the threshold height depends on the finished floor.
Someone on site
Someone who can approve the handle height, opening direction and the final position should be there at the start.

Internal doors and straightforward replacements are usually quicker than external glazed systems, because there is no structural or weather detail to resolve.
What affects the cost of door installation in Dubai
Installation is normally quoted with the door, so the honest answer is that the opening decides the price. These are the factors that move it, and every project is quoted after a free site visit.

Difficult openings we deal with often
- Out-of-square openings in older villas: measured at several points and packed and sealed so the gaps stay even.
- Existing marble or tiled floors: flush thresholds are set out so the finished floor and drainage still work.
- High-floor apartments: panel sizes planned around the lift, and balcony glazing checked against wind exposure and building approval.
- Wide openings with no support: the structure above is checked, and where it is not strong enough we say so before you order.
- Occupied homes and shops: the opening is made weathertight the same day wherever the programme allows.

Approvals, rules and related reading
Two things decide whether a door installation goes smoothly in Dubai: getting the opening right, and getting permission right. The second one catches more people out than the first.
- Check the building rules before you order. Where an installation alters an external opening, changes a lintel or touches the facade, the requirements are set out in the Dubai Building Code published by Dubai Municipality. In an apartment or a managed community, the developer or owners association will have its own approval process on top of that. We raise both at the survey rather than after fabrication.

How much does door installation cost in Dubai?
Installation is normally quoted together with the door, so the price depends on the door type, the size of the opening, whether an old door has to be removed and how easy the access is. Every project is quoted after a free site visit. As a reference, our aluminium bifold doors are supplied and installed from AED 2,500 per panel.
How long does it take to install a door?
A standard opening takes 1-2 days to fit. Before that, standard aluminium systems take 2-3 weeks to make. Large, multiple or motorised openings take longer, and we confirm the programme in the written quote.
Do you remove the old door?
Yes. We strip out the old door and frame, make the opening good and fit the new door. Tell us at the survey so the removal is included in the quote.
Do you install doors bought somewhere else?
We install the systems we supply, because the warranty then covers the door and the fitting together. If you already have a door, send a photo and the details on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
What do you need from me before installation day?
A clear opening with furniture moved back, access booked in the building, and someone on site at the start who can confirm the handle height and opening direction. If the floor finish is not laid yet, tell us at the survey.
Do I need building approval for a new door?
Inside a villa, usually not. Changing a facade, enclosing a balcony or altering a shopfront usually needs building management, developer or authority approval. We tell you what applies at the site visit.
Can you install doors in an occupied apartment or shop?
Yes. We work around the building's permitted hours, book the service lift and, wherever the programme allows, leave the opening weathertight at the end of each day.
Is there a warranty on the installation?
Our aluminium door systems carry a 10-year warranty, and the written quote sets out what is covered. Doors settle after fitting, so if a panel needs adjusting we come back and adjust it.
Do you install doors outside Dubai?
Yes. We install across the UAE, including Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah.
What is the difference between installing a bifold and a sliding door?
A bifold needs every panel hung and adjusted so the folded stack sits evenly, while a sliding door needs a perfectly packed, level track to carry heavy panels. Both need a drained threshold on any exposed elevation.
Can you replace a door in one visit?
Straightforward like-for-like replacements are usually done in one visit once the new door has been made. The manufacturing time comes first, which is why the survey happens before anything is ordered.
What if my opening is not square?
That is normal in older buildings. We measure at several points, make the door to the tightest dimension, then pack and seal the frame so the gaps stay even and the door still runs smoothly.
